Our annual garden day will take place soon, and we have a garden day everyday Lol.

Nah, I am only joking but let me tell you that we love the flowers that we see, and we also have some nice flowers in our two small gardens. One garden at the front and the other one at the back of the house. I am not a flower guy, meaning that I don't have much interest in their names and descriptions, as I leave those things for the botanists. My interest rather lies in the wildlife from the smallest insect to the largest elephant, and everything else in between :)

For example, I can tell you that there are only two birds in the world that can fly backwards, the one is a hummingbird, and I forgot the name of the other one. I have it somewhere in my files. I can also tell you that it is only the small female sunbird that can land and drink nectar from these red little hanging bell like flowers that you see in the post. The male sunbird also tries, but he has no luck, as he is too heavy.
In any case, come and look at what I have to share in this post.

This is the bush in our front garden, and I have shown you what they look like inside in the tag picture (2 shots below).

This bush below is at the front on the sidewalk of the road at our neighbor's house.

I saw the female carpenter bee landing on the bush when I pulled our car out and stopped the car to sit and take some shots it (3 shots).

This lovely orange rose also grows on a bush next to the one with the yellow flowers. I will wait for those buds to open, so that I can get the three roses on camera.

And now I will show you the lovely flowers of an air plant that grows in our back garden (3 shots).

I don't know what that yellow part of the flower is, but I bet that it will look nice when it's grown out.

Things are getting so expensive here, that I now have the thought to plant some veggies in our back garden. There is a space that measures 2x2 meters, and I have covered it with some square decking tiles for us to sit on to dine outside, and also to count the satellites that travel over in the sky at night. Our record count is currently 80 satellites, but I will have to stop the counts in favor of a veggie patch in the space.

We are the only two that stay here, and so we don't need to grow a lot of veggies, but mainly carrots, potatoes, leeks, and tomatoes. Oh, and also a pumpkin or two. At this stage it is only still a thought, as we can move at any time, but I bet that new tenants will also find it useful. I think that this is enough chat, and I hope that everyone will have a good day.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
