The blockchain is a game-changer and it is one of the major reasons why I am so optimistic about the future. Mankind is going to take a huge step forward because the biggest impediment to progress is removed: Man himself.

Wow that is a major statement.

Let me explain.

For sake of short-hand, man will be used to signify mankind and not gender.

One of the rages this year was the talk about artificial intelligence. Many fear it pointing to the Terminator scenario where machines turn on the human race and destroy it. They state that having an intelligence that is smarter than us is dangerous. I disagree with this assessment for a couple different reasons.

To start, this is supposing that man is intelligent which is incorrect. Man is emotional which tends to be the basis for most decisions. There is very little intelligence exemplified by the human race or the members of it. Sure there are some very smart people yet when you look at most of the decisions made, emotion makes up the largest part of the process.

This situation is made worse by the fact that the bankster run world has instilled fear into most people. They created a world based upon scarcity and hatred. We are taught to fear those who are different than us. In business, competition is there to be eliminated. Even our recreation time is spent watching sporting events where we are bombarded by metaphors of war. Things are determined in light of win-loss.

All this fear is toxic and, in my view, is at the core of most decisions. Now, I must state that fear is masked in many different ways. Anger, sarcasm, greed, anxiety, envy and revenge are all signs of fear. How much of this do we see in the business world? How much of it is present in politics? Heck, we see a great deal of it on Steemit.

Humans are the most vicious, destructive beings on the planet. For being the "smartest", we sure do screw things up in a big way. We are continually trying to come up with new ways of killing each other, something that we do not do out of instinct. Instead, it is accepted practice. Presently, the planet does about $80 trillion a year in commerce yet we have large numbers of people starving to death. This orb that we are traveling through space on is our home yet we continually do our best to make it a toxic cesspool.

Would you call someone who gathered up all the trash in the neighborhood and dumped it in the middle of his living room intelligent?

We see people making decisions that affect the lives of many with the mindset of "what is in it for me". This might not be overt from the outside but we know what goes through the mind of a person.

What if this does not work out?
Will I get fired over this?
What will my boss think?
What if I am wrong?

Certainly, looking at the downside of any decision is prudent. Yet we know this concept is often quickly passed to the point that it is become neurotic.

Artificial Intelligence is still rather stupid. Based upon the learning capable, if it is at the level of a 6 year old, I am being generous. That said, AI is leapfrogging mankind in its ability to do certain things. Part of this is the raw computational power it possesses. The other is the fact that a computer is not emotional. When it is making a decision, there is no fear. Unlike man, the computer does not tie its worth to the outcome.

Presently, we are seeing AI run investment funds spring up all over the place. People now can have their money managed by a computer instead of a human. Overall, the results are very encouraging with the success rate of the algorithms topping the human traders (95% of them cannot beat the S&P 500 in consecutive years). Technical trading is a very black and white activity. The best traders in the world are the most "robot-like". All trading decisions are made ahead of time by them. Regardless of the signals used, when triggered, a trade takes place, each and every time.

This is not the case for the average trader. When he or she (studies show women make better traders than men by the way) gets a signal, the emotions start. The biggest one is the fear that comes from the question "what if I am wrong". Now the trader is focused upon the money he or she could lose. Intelligence is replaced with emotionalism.

Man is also woefully inept at having power. History repeatedly shows how those entrusted with power often abuse it. We have done some of the most barbaric things imaginable simply because we had the power to do so. This is true for a political/governmental standpoint or even within our own companies. Again, look at the behavior of some on here who have "power". People all over the world are enslaved because fearful beings have the power to decide what is best for all involved. Of course, this usually means protecting one's power base at the expense of others. Why? Because of the threat of losing that power which might be real, or can be imagined.

Steemit is a microcosm of the world we live in since it is populated with such a cross section of the world community. People from all over come together with all their experiences and desires. It is here where we see humanity on display. The new person who throws a fit because he or she didn't trend on the first article is showing how we all are. The "I want" and "Me. Me. Me." is a part of our makeup.

Fortunately, the blockchain is here to help. On Steemit, the reward system is established. There is no individual who is able to change it. This is part of the blockchain and requires a rather extensive process by the witnesses (over 100 I believe) coming to a consensus to change it. The reward pool comes each day exactly how it was written with no change. There is no authority to turn it off. Of course, recent events show us the parts that the blockchain turns over to man can creates a major problem since man is involved. The fear, in all its form, rears its ugly head.

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are going to completely change the plight of humanity. Much of the injustice and inequality that people rail against will be solved by this. Many are focused upon cryptocurrencies and the impact they will have for humanity. They are so threatening that the banksters are in full attack mode. Nevertheless, this isn't the true threat to them.

A week ago I wrote an article about the banksters being cooked. They are done. Not surprisingly, many commented that they either didn't believe me or were cautiously optimistic. The consensus was that cryptocurrencies held great hope but the banksters have the money and power to control them. We already see them starting to buy up loads of bitcoin (and alt-coins I am sure). The bankster playbook is being run, true to form.

Of course, people fear the government. This is the right hand of the banksters which uses force and coercion to protect those who enslave humanity. It is this one-two combination that causes people to think this situation is done before it even gets started.

I am here to tell you that, it is true, this battle is over and it is the banksters who lost. Their protection from the government is not longer a force. In fact, it matters none. The reason I make this claim is because of two facts that most overlook.

A. Cryptocurrency is not the threat. That is only one app. The banksters are looking at that while realizing that it is the blockchain and what is to follow that is going to obliterate them. Or maybe they realize it and simply know they cannot do anything about it.
B. Government is not a protector of the banksters anymore since that entity is under attack also.

People might find the second one surprising yet we are already seeing it happen. Estonia is hard at work creating a "country" on the blockchain.

Here is a recent article about it:

Of course, some might come back with the argument that the banks and governments are starting to embrace blockchain. So what? Newspapers and journalists embraced the Internet by setting up web pages for their viewers to read. And what happened? The Internet obliterated their business model and power base.

We also saw wealthy entities in the music industry and Hollywood turn to the all powerful government for protection from the "thieving" people online. Even though the government can imprison, how effective was it at protecting these industries from the power of the Internet? It turned out the Feds were pretty impotent.

So we will see the same story repeated. The banksters will run the usual playbook thinking that power cannot be penetrated. They will use government like they always did to scare and coerce. Unfortunately for them, this time, it will not work. While they are trying to get a grip on bitcoin and other currencies, there is another bear entering the room. Naturally, government is too busy being a puppet to realize this is coming for them also.

If you think this unrealistic, read some of what bitshares is starting to put together. This is a decentralized blockchain which is going right after the financial industry. It is already in the process of creating DAOs which are going to remove the need for human decision-making. They also are creating an entirely new system of funding which could spur a ton of innovation (along with wealth creation). Notice I said system, not token (they are creating those also). The best part is that the banksters are not only powerless to do anything about this, they cannot duplicate it.

Jamie Dimon has good reason to be scared and lash out but attacking bitcoin is misplaced. That is not the threat. What Jamie is facing is the end to his abusive practices that come from having the power that he does. Banksters are truly the ones who enslave humanity. They are the epitome of what I opened this article up with: the idea that mankind is ill-suited to have power. Fortunately, humanity is now able to trust in a power base that is not driven by fear and the need to control. Instead, it is neutral simply because it is emotionless. There is no prejudice, ideology, or hatred. It simply operates based upon the terms of the smart contract(s). Nothing more.

In my book, humanity is going to be much better off trusting type of power system.
