Take it easy, take your time,
For you are swimming in another's mind.
A Mother's story, and a Father's glory,
Carrying the weight of stranger's lives.
A broken heart and a new start,
A timeline of horse behind the cart,
Rolling down that slippery slope,
Skinning knees and tearing worlds apart.
Slow down, Slow down.
One foot first, then the other,
The reflection seen is not the brother,
The Light blown, and the Bird flown,
The past is ever-present unlike no other.
Time moves forward endlessly spinning,
Toward an end that is beginning,
A perfect circle mindlessly turning,
Win to lose, and loss to winning.
Slow down, Slow down.
