Exploring Wat Sanam Nue is my favorite activity… I was very surprised to find a vast number of turtles living together in the pond where Phra Chulamanee Chedi is situated. (I already showed you this chedi in my old post.)
These turtles live simple lives but they look charming, especially in my eyes. There are various sizes of turtles from small to large bodies. Some moved slowly, some stayed still, some swam in the pond, etc.
I think the peaceful temple atmosphere serves well as an ideal habitat for these turtles.
There were some fresh vegetables on the ground so they could eat them whenever they wanted.
Not only these charming turtles, there were also some pigeons stopping by at the area where these turtles stayed as well.
