Guys, there was an insect problem in my HiveGarden!
i am not an experienced planter, so it was a real shock for me. I never thought I can have insects on my HOME plants.
This pepper is my newcomer, we bought it 2 months ago on our wedding anniversary.
We added some pepper to our life;)))
my hubby likes spicy dishes, and I like to grow peppers, so we bought it without any doubts.
It was super nice and looked so fantastic haviung 3 different colours depending on whether it was ripe or not.
I read much info how to water it, what conditions to choose, so I didn't expect any problems with....aphids!
But the thing is I chose a balcony for it, so insects could come there easily even through the net. Aphids are so tiny!
I didn't notice them at once, they were living on my pepper UNDER leaves. And when I saw there were dozens of them already!
I didn't know what it was, and I searched for reply in special plant groups in the socialweb. They helped me and explained it was Aphids, and I had to use chemical poisons to win it.
Ammm....I didn't expect it either...Chemical poisons? But how will I eat my pepper after it? Many people don't aee any harm in it, but I don't wanna taste chemical poisons...
Then I remembered a nice and easy way to kill any bacteria and insects - our well-known soap. it's not just a soap like we all are used to have. it's a special multifunctional soap, very powerful against everything harmful. But at the same time it's safe. it's used to clean body, hair, kids clothes, to wash wounds, to kill any bacteria and microbs etc.
I decided to try it, and I was sute it would help.
I made thick foam and put it on every leaf of my pepper and left it there for a night.
Then I washed it away by clean water.
NO APHIDS! And no chemistry! my pepper is healthy and safe again!
I am sure there are natural ways out against all possible problems. We need just to seek for them.
