I am sure that every needlewoman has a job that she does not like to do. It can be anything: for example, to redo what you did wrong, to sew some specific models of clothes, to knit something monotonous (for example, scarves - this is about me 😁🙈) or complex, such as socks. etc.
What do you do when you have to do exactly what you hate? I confess to you: I do not do it! 😁🙈
That is, I just debug in some distant box and that's it. Why am I talking about this today? Because I took it out of that box!
This is my summer old natural fabric blouse. Since I'm sorry to throw this away, I decided to make a homemade top out of it.
Cutting off the excess is quite easy, and here we come to my first unloved job! Before sewing seams on a sewing machine, I have to do it by hand with a needle and thread. I'm too lazy to do this! 🙈
I really want to just sew it on a sewing machine and that's it! But!!! I'm not a sewing expert at all. I just have to do the prep work before it! But I really don't want to do it! 🙄🙈
I decided to exercise self-control and force myself! I'll show you the proof of it now!
See it? I first used pins, and then sewed with a needle and thread. I am very proud of myself!!!! 🤣😃
And this is my second unloved job - to dissolve what I already finished knitting but made a mistake and have to redo it. 😏
As I said, my first sleeve of a white sweater turned out to be a little narrow. After I knitted the second sleeve and tried it on, I saw that the second sleeve was slightly wider and more comfortable. Naturally, I had to unravel more than half of the first sleeve and knit it again, but by the standards of the second sleeve. Do you love this kind of work? 😏 This is worse for me than knitting a scarf! 🤣🤣🤣
As you can see in the photo, I did it! So I'm proud of myself twice! 😄 My husband helped me with this. Unlike me, he likes this job very much. Well, probably this is from the fact that it was not he who knitted what he now dissolves with such pleasure. 🤣
