The other day I went into my wardrobe for one thing and suddenly I saw a duvet cover there, which I had completely forgotten.
Our friends gave us a bed set a few years ago. We use sheets and pillowcases, but the duvet cover doesn't fit our duvet. All this time he was in the wardrobe and I forgot about him. The duvet cover is very beautiful, double-sided with different patterns.
This is one side and the other below.

I saw him and suddenly it dawned on me: I can make two sheets from one duvet cover and also use them. 馃榾
Look how neatly sewn, but I'll have to dissolve it all.
I did it quickly. Before sewing, I decided to fold and iron the seams with an iron. How glad I was that I was not too lazy to do it! 馃槂
I just remembered that our girls did it: I saw in their photographs. It was much easier to sew after having ironed the seams. So, I sew the first sheet on the sewing machine!
My goal was to sew as close to the seam edge and as straight as possible. Ha ha ha 馃榿馃榿馃榿 My harmful sewing machine sometimes obeyed me and sewed an almost even seam, but sometimes (quite often, to be honest) 馃榿 the sewing machine drew sea waves, although this was not at all part of my plans 馃榿馃槦馃榿
I am sewing a second sheet.
It turned out to be easy, although one time my sewing machine did not go to the right place and I had to open the seam and sew again. Sometimes I was able to sew closer to the edge of the seam, but in order to learn how to sew an even seam, I realized that I need to sew at least 20 of these sheets 馃榿馃榿馃榿
But still I am very very proud of myself !!!! After all, now we have two wonderful new sheets!
How glad I am that this idea came to my mind !!!! Previously, we did not have a sewing machine and therefore the duvet cover was forgotten for a long time.
But most importantly, I was once again convinced that I was no longer afraid to sew on a sewing machine: as soon as I got the idea to sew two sheets, I immediately took it up. This is a big victory for me !!!!
