I made a very simple undergarment and want to shads with you the making process. Sewing undergarments like this is very easy and with this method even someone who is not an expert in sewing can give it a try.

Sometimes sewing is not about making beautiful wears but what is actually needed per time. School has just resumed and my baby sis needs some new set of undergarment. After purchasing her school materials there isn't much left to buy these wear hence I decided to sew her something she can use for a week or two before we get the quality ones.

A single underwear like the tight view for $3 and instead of spending that much to buy only one I would rather prefer to purchase some comfortable fabrics to sew one instead.

Note that the fabrics for sewing underwears are quite different from the ones we use for our clothing. Hopefully by the weekend I will have some funds and time to sew her some better quality underwears with newer fabrics.

For this one i recycled a camisole I no longer need into this pant as it was needed urgently.

First I removed the hands of the camisole

And proceeded to cut it using her waistline and thigh measurements

I cut out the hemming and bias stripe to different the back from the front so that one cannot mix them up when wearing it.

Then came the time for stitching in which I started from the hemming first and then the bias sewn in the seamlines in two different colors

Next I created a belt hole on the waist line and a rope for her to use
One can decide to use wither an elastic or a cloth belt

With this simple method you can sew an undergarment.

I have only 4 basic measurements of the waist, the crotch depth, hip and thigh. Any beginer in sewing can try this too.
