It is a mountain with a height of 508m that spans Nowon-gu, Seoul and Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, and can be reached by train from Seoul. From a distance, it was named Bulamsan because it looks like a rocky mountain that resembles a Buddha.
Jeongamsa Temple is famous as a temple that enshrined the Joseon Dynasty Buddhist painting called Amitabha Chiljeondo.
