A new year of victories and learning, of being present for my loves, of having the grace to see them grow and give them the best of me, of discovering a us every day, of being an active part of our home; of losing myself in their looks, enjoying their smiles and listening to their stories; of living love as a couple and feeling full.
A new year of allowing myself to be a better person, of discovering how different I am every time I open my eyes, of walking the path to accept myself with love, of trying to assimilate everything that life tries to teach me, of exploring different ways of looking; of striving to understand so that it is not necessary to forgive.
A new year knowing that I exist by divine grace and being grateful for that miracle; practicing being aware of my breathing and getting off autopilot, worrying less and living more, wanting to connect with me and who brought me here.
The life that goes on inside us we see outside; we reflect our interior in our walk, our feeling, our action. Our peace does not depend on anyone, nor does what we offer, let alone who we are.
I wish to be the one who has to overcome every day, from the light in my conscience, that it will burn throughout my time; that there will remain pleasant memories of me, those that draw smiles on my lips. I wish to be ready, when it is my time, and live to the fullest in the meantime. I want to learn to really love, with that love so pure and clean that is recited in 1 Corinthians 13; to learn to be faithful to all the commandments and not to get lost in the attempt.
Every time I close my eyes and breathe, I want to feel myself, in my best version, without fear, without pain, without resentment; I want to decant everything I do not deserve and carry on my back, never forget how much I am worth and be able to compensate for what I receive every day: all the love, all the affection, all the trust, all the joy, all the company... all the blessings.
Thank you God for this new cycle that is beginning; because while we have life, we have the opportunity to do it better; because you left us free choice.
