Today I finished the low intensity and lower kms trainings week with 4 slow rounds at the University cross grounds, but at the beginning of the last three rounds a 200m sprint. Even though my friend Victor was running in front of me, I concluded 3x in 35". This makes me reconsider for tomorrow's 1000m control. Instead of looking for the rhythm to finish the next 1500m under 5', maybe I should aim higher and try to finish around my 1000m PR of 3'09" (last year). Víctor will go for 3'05", which will be way too fast I think, but maybe I could see how far I can maintain the rhythm? I'll see tomorrow...
The cheese burger was the "not so healthy" lunch for today, but look it didn't harm :-)
