I would open with the saying that happiness is free. It is a choice for the most part and in my opinion. It is a feeling of joy, satisfaction and purely positive emotion.

Happiness means different things to different people. I believe happiness is defined by what's man calls it.
For some persons, it is tied to an achievement, for others, it may be something else. I do not tie my happiness to anything especially things that are material. Because, a lack of those would mean that I delved into depression. There are two many things, good and bad, going on in the world and me choosing myself, choosing to be happy inspire, is what keeps me sane.

Happiness is that state I choose to be in. The positive energy i have chosen to radiate at all times. It's known that as long as a man lives, there certainly will be issues to face. And I cannot imagine staying sad through every tough time. Of course, achievements and Goodwill have a way to brighten up ones day but I don't believe they should be the bedrock. I want all of the nice ingredients that make life spicy but I have to stay positive for me to be able to recognize and embrace them when they come.
Sadness dulls up the system and makes one unnecessarily defensive and unreceptive to good tidings.

Already, there are many things in the world and life that make to dampen our feelings and they sometimes affect varroous areas of our life but maintaining an optimistoc disposition to them would help us go through those. Even the wealthiest and most comfortable of humans have issues. Some have issues their money is unable to handle. Some are not even as happy as the common man. It's either one is sad or happy. And given to choose, I don't assume anyone would pick the former. It's bad energy. Unhealthy for anyone.

So, daily I strive to stay in good mood. Life is what you make of it. And even when I fall out or fail, amidst nursing my woinds, I push to come out of that hole, pick my lessons and shake it all off. That's how life should go, I guess.

And that said, I'm happy when I listen to good music. I'm happy when I recieve compliment. It makes me happy when I can put a smile on someone's face. Playing a football game makes me happy. Dishing out and receiving good news makes me happy. Rainfall late in the evening makes me happy. My family makes me happy, yunno, just being around them, dining and making jokes. I'm happy when I travel to New places, make new friends, try new dishes and learn new culture. Life makes me happy. I make me happy.

I could never hinge my happiness solely on the big things when the tiny working things, those everyday happenings that contribute majorly to a great day, making life easier are ignored.

Maybe why I can confidently confess that I love a happy life lies in the fact that I've never given room to dwell in sadness and limit myself to anything at all. It's a choice that I have made to stay happy regardless. I don't forget that as far as I have life, anything is possible. There's definitely every reason to be happy.
