Change we know is the only thing constant, which is why the era we are in now is entirely a different era. An era where most of us don’t see anything wrong in doing some certain things like taking pictures in public without the knowledge of those involved since many might fill invasion of privacy if they get to see their pictures posted online without their consent.
Apart from being a social media content creator or an online writer, public picture taking of images of others without their consent has been long on- going, dated back to many years and many has built wealth through this profession, example being the “Paparazzi” who secretly follows and takes pictures of then mighty and rich 🤑, seeking information and selling the pictures to publishers for huge sums of money 💰.
And even before the boom 💥 of social media platforms, people whose work are professional photographers were practically secretly taking pictures without informing those involved, especially for the purpose of giving out information, knowing what is going on in someone’s life, knowing who is dating who, and other top informations just for the purpose of creating news 📰.
I love ❤️ to take lots of pictures in public either when am alone or with family. I mean visiting places that needs to be documented is one thing I love too as this helps me save pictures for memory keeping. So there is no way to avoid others coming into your public shots , especially during festivals when we go to the beach 🏖, carnivals 🎡, concerts and family gatherings.
In this kind of environment, it becomes very difficult to avoid faces you do not know, and can in the future post this pictures in the internet without consulting them because you do not know them. And because of the era we live in, everyone should know that things like this happens and have to accept the times and what is going on in the times.
Social media is a means whereby many are making ends to meet. And many post on daily basis through every day blogging, without caring if anyone shows up in the blog because that is why its called a daily blog with the content creator going on the streets to get what is going on called activities. Although many do it for fame, popularity and growth in the social media, but the see it as things of the era of internet period.
I believe that every individual has a different perception to issue like this. I mean, why will I suddenly see myself in a background of someone else’s posted pictures or blog? For me I will see it as oh, this is the era of social media , change to old thinking 💭 and how we need to move with times. But others might not see it this way. So for anyone who might take offense of coming across such an act, the best approach to this is to simply ask for the picture or pictures to be taken down. This is simple and without any problem.
So its never a crime or will ever be to share other peoples pictures without knowing what they will feel when it comes across to them. Posting a picture with others in the background is merely a coincidence and should not be taking so seriously. Times has made many to realize that change is constant, so people I think should move with time, otherwise, those who fill sharing their pictures in a background should avoid public places and should not attend functions. Its as simple as this because times will continue moving.
