Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 241 Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
Made With Canva
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “JUSTICE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “CROWDFUNDING”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us their thoughts on people who came online to source for funds and donations. In a world where it was difficult to show transparency and trust that people are using funds collected for their real reasons, many of these monies end up being misused.
We got to see that while there are bad elements in such practices, it doesn’t mean that all of them are like that. There will always be those who genuinely need the money being donated. And for those, it will always be better to give them the benefit of the doubt. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.
BLOCKCHAIN AND CROWDFUNDING: BUILDING TRUST by
The author argues that crowdfunding works best when it’s fully transparent about funds and spending, with blockchain enabling traceable, trust-building disclosure of how money is raised and used. It also emphasizes community input to allocate funds and warns that broken trust undermines future support.
CROWDFUNDING NEEDS TRANSPARENCY NOT JUST TRUST by
Crowdfunding platforms should be more transparent about where funds come from, how they’re spent, and the real impact they create, backed by receipts, regular updates, independent audits, and clear donation records. To build donor trust and deter fraud.
@kilvnrexA reflection on trust, compassion, and skepticism in modern life: people want to help, but fear of being scammed and a harsh online environment make genuine generosity and crowdfunding seem risky. The post shares a personal encounter that underscores why many opt to withhold aid unless there’s clear proof or personal connection.
All of the above content was supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (
@melinda010100) ] and 1 $PANDAMINER each as a reward next Monday. These posts were selected because of their special attention to detail and how they followed the topic. There were a lot of good ones out there, but we just could not pick them all.
But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:
