Sometime in our beautiful we have passed some illness of the moment, flus, fevers, lows and the like, that to overcome many of these we can self-medicate with drugs, worth the redundancy, and sometimes for certain reasons we forget to take that pill at the time we were due, and we ingest it at the time or it crosses our minds depending on how we feel at that time, take two pills, the one we forgot and the one we are due now.

We may think that under no circumstances this would happen and even less that this thought would happen to a person no matter how crazy they are, but believe me it does happen. There are those who believe that an extra dose of a medication can alleviate the problem faster and this is not the case. Even changing the schedule of medications or not taking them at the indicated times can have consequences that we will suffer later.

Even, and it should be emphasized, few people have considered exceeding the doses recommended by doctors to soothe pain, relieve or recover in less time, believing that they can cheat your body, when in reality you are causing serious damage, not all drugs react the same. The mind can be fooled, but not your digestive process, it knows what goes in and what comes out, and depending on the situation it affects you in the short, medium or long term.

I have lived in my own flesh moments in which it occurs to me to duplicate medications or add half of another dose just because I could not stand the pains in my body, that tiny extra dose made me worse the next day, since the doctor had prescribed something, and the medicine coincided with the recommended dose, that brought me almost fatal consequences, I had to be hospitalized and sent intravenous drugs to relieve the overdose supplied in an act of madness I committed. From that I learned something that I know will not happen again.
