Good morning ,
This morning i had a cold suprise on my window , luckely we have double glazed windows but we had ice on the outside and water on the inside .
hense the title water and ice.
this is my contribution to the #monomad challenge , hosted and curated by @monochromes .
When i took these images this morning it was still -2 degrees celsius outside
i've used 2 camera's and 2 lenses :
Sony A7II + Laowa Venus 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5x Ultra Macro with 2.5 - 5x magnification
Sony A6000 + Sigma 105mm Macro
you can clearly see the ice crystals on the "dirty" window ,
But on the inside we had condensation due to humidty inside the house and that gives a lot of small water drops and with the use of my LED light also gives crazy reflections.
Back to the " normal macro lens " you get a different picture of the condensated water
And the icing also looks different
water with icy clouds on the window
Trying to get the both in focus means higher aperture and less light
still the result is a nice abstract image that i couldn't have created without the help of mother nature .
Just glad i don't have to go outside today , and that i can stay inside with hot coffee.
And here it is one double glazed window, frozen on the outside melted on the inside 😉
