You would think we are in a three ring circus with all the elephants in the room. I mean, sure Bitcoin has been around for some time now with its own considerable amount of damage, or learning curves that took place. Then, the evolution continues with the introduction of Ethereum to deliver innovation with apps to broaden the playing field. Here we have Mt. GOX rearing its ugly mug like an annoying villain on a bad sitcom. It was stated the creditors of the past exchange are paid in full, however what is to become of the remaining gargantuan? A billion dollars left up for grabs? Mark Karpeles delivered a seemingly sincere letter of apology recently and claimed it would be "distasteful" to claim the unbelievable remaining balance. We know what will happen if it's sold back into the market, or should we find it acceptable for this questionable character to just accept this incredibly frustrating situation? It's fair to also mention that not all charities are exactly what we think they are, or whom they might be affiliated (Red Cross, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation).
The SEC (Security and Exchange Commissions) stated cryptocurrency to be labeled as merely an asset, not a currency and deny any chance for an ETF; then suddenly bring it back for discussion to seriously consider it. All the while, the reactive outcome from governance scrambles to find a way to implement regulations.
The show must go on!
