Me neither. 😂 I recall it could be around a year ago, but to clear up the doubts, I scrolled quickly through my whole blog of '25 and very soon reached my [latest post](https://peakd.com/hive-151327/@mipiano/amanitus) in this community. Oh, it seems it was in December of 2024, which means my memory is still not so broken. It was indeed about one year ago; however, I was wrong in my guess about the mushrooms that were presented as I thought it was the story of [Grey Hood](https://peakd.com/hive-151327/@mipiano/grey-hood-went-to). 🤷‍♀ ![20251201_094701.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mipiano/EqmcgwjHHsXk4i9x3uxfchadgjupnvv8WiEwtq9xKSmgLCovfyC1uKCL4QPHD7Gqx6i.jpg) Anyway, what we will focus on in this post is the present time and the poor guys I found the other day, on Monday, when we went to the freshwater spring in the mountains. From the first photo, you see how nice the views from there are, looking towards the little village of Guadalest (it can barely be seen in the photo, but it is there). What I liked the most was the layer of clouds covering the mountain range behind the village. I assume it is necessary to have at least some decent asphalt roads leading to the nearby orchards, but still, it somehow doesn't fit the feeling of being surrounded just by pure nature. A little mushroom hidden among the conifer needles. So what? It doesn't have vibrant colours, nor is it so pretty... however, it is alive, and that is actually a lucky thing for this guy. Was it someone who thought they were dangerous or someone who wanted to take them home, but in the end changed their opinion and just left the mushrooms there?
