PREDATOR ENERGY DRINK - Getting Experimental (Product Photography #3)
I had just had breakfast and there I was staring into the emptiness wondering what to shoot today. I hadn't taken any pictures in a while, worse did some real photography. So I decided to do another product shoot again. The idea of an energy drink, a mug, and a saucer popped into my head. I bought the items and headed home. I'm not a big fan of energy drinks though. I think they don't give you energy per se, they just shut out the part of your brown that tells you you're tired. They have an adverse effect in the end, but I did enjoy this one for sure. A lot of Nigerians like me would love a bottle of Predator Energy Drink.

Process
The process was pretty simple. At first, I had a challenge with the height of the bottle, as it touched the top of the box, so I decided to shoot from the neck down. A very easy way to shoot any beverage food or anything similar is to spray with water. It's a perfect start to make it look cool. What I did differently as an experiment that came out nicely what the light mode. The liquid in the bottle had a greenish-brown sort of color (forgive me, I'm terrible with colors). I realize changing the light from cool to warm lighting would add a nice depth to it and it did. It maid the liquid glow. Another thing I did as an experiment also was to shoot in manual and make sure the photo was a tad underexposed. Worked out nicely in my opinion. I also sprayed a lot of water underneath the bottle to make it look shiny under the light.
I'm absolutely delighted with the outcome.
