Welcome to my Starting a garden Post #12. I always start with a flower 馃尰
This week the flower is actually in my garden! The sunflowers we started from seeds way back in March have started to bloom 馃檪
We planted two rows at the end of one bed and they are about 3 foot tall and all blooming or working on blooms.
The ants are busy this morning. We are chalking them up as pollinators and leaving them be for now.
The seeds for these sunflowers came from a flower along the side of the road last fall. They are the type with multiple mid-size blooms.
One pumpkin plant is also blossoming.
The pumpkins are also from seeds we saved last fall.
Butternut squash are starting to blossom.
Looks like everything we planted has yellow or orange blossoms 馃ぃ
Last but not least one tomato plant is blossoming. Also yellow lol
Its exciting to see plants starting to blossom. Everything is growing so quickly in the sun and rain we are having right now.
Lets walk over to the garden together and I will give you a quick update on everything else.
The gate is locked against deer but you are always welcome.
The first bed on the right as you enter has the brussel sprouts, beans, radish, onion, lemon basil and some marigolds.
The beans are getting ready to blossom but didn't make it in time for this weeks post 馃槈
The next bed has the pumpkins, some tomatoes, marigolds and basil.
Bed number 3 is the tomato bed which also has some peppers, garlic and more basil.
The fourth and final bed is the sunflower bed. Sunflowers, squash, cucumbers, and marigolds.
Outside of the beds but inside of the fence we also have some raspberries and blueberries.

Green frog chilling on this #sublimesunday and #beautifulsunday. Got the best spot by the pool, king of its world, no worries. Its a lovely Sunday here. I plan to get outside and enjoy it. I hope you do the same 馃檪
