I stumbled upon a large group of butterflies on a short afternoon hike yesterday. The hike was at Skylight Pond Trail in the Green Mountain National Forest near Ripton, Vermont.

A found a very cute group of mushrooms along my walk. Very photogenic 🙂 I like the pattern of the holes eaten out of the mushrooms by bugs. The small pink flower is Herb Robert or Geranium robertianum

Red reishi (Ganoderma tsugae) mushroom found in Green Mountain National Forest near Ripton, Vermont. These large bright, lacquered conk mushrooms often grows on hemlock which are plentiful in Vermont.

Mutliflora Rose is a multistemmed, thorny, perennial shrub that grows up to 15 feet tall. Small, white to pinkish, 5-petaled flowers occur abundantly in clusters on the plant in the spring. - Vermont Invasives

Bridge over the East Middlebury River. I took a short hike along the East Middlebury River in Addison County, Vermont to this popular swimming hole.

Got out for a nice hike yesterday. Can't not stop for mushrooms (and photo ops) 😊 Even these mushrooms that are a bit past their prime. Hiked at Sucker Brook Trail leading up to the Long Trail.

I recently visited the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. I thought I would try and share my favorite exhibit. The exhibit was titled the Sound of Water featuring color woodcuts by Stanton MacDonald-Wright.

Mural by Traci O’Very Covey in McCarthey Plaza on the side of the Eccles Theater. A couple of other murals are also on the plaza.

In response to George Floyd's murder in 2020, Fleet Block become a gathering place for the protests in Salt Lake City. The mural memorializing those lost was a key part of those protests.
