The distinctive cluster of white flowers is quite beautiful. But as you probably figured out by the Vermont Invasives citation... these lovelies are not good for the Vermont ecosystem. They are native to eastern Asia and considered invasive in Vermont.
I found this large rose bush along the tree line in the back of my house. I was excited but less so now that I have done some research.
But they are still beautiful...
