Today we took our morning walk down a snowy lane.
There wasn't much snow but it did coat the trees. These trees, Eastern hemlock I think, always have a nice criss cross pattern in the snow. Like waffles under a coating of powdered sugar. Mmmm. Maybe tomorrow for breakfast.
Lake Dunmore was clouded in. The mountains across the lake were invisible.
Snow is evident on this point of land extending into the lake but not enough to show up well in the reflections.
And it begins... thin ice along the shore ❄️🧊❄️⛄❄️🏔️❄️
