Hello Gourmets!
Recently, when I went to visit my neighbor, he offered me a potato cake. I've never had a cake prepared with salt before. I had the opportunity to experience it for the first time. I liked the taste very much, so I wanted to try this cake today after I got the recipe from him.
Of course, I had doubts before I did it. I was afraid if the potatoes would be cooked or if they would stay raw inside, the recipe would be bad. I just took my potato cake out of the oven and tasted it. It got my approval and it's already in my favourites. Now I will share this recipe with you. Those who do not like sweets will like this recipe. In the future, I plan to add different vegetables to this recipe instead of potatoes. If they are good, I will definitely share them with you. Now let's move on to the schedule. Are you ready?
3 Potatoes
1 onion
3 eggs
1 Cup Oil
1 Cup Yogurt
2 Cups of Flour
Red pepper
Black pepper
Salt
Baking powder
Cheese (you can add any kind you want)
Note; I used 200ml cup size.
Peel and dice the potatoes and onions. I chopped it small for fear of leaving it raw. You don't have to add onions if you don't like it. I wanted to use onions because I love it.
Whisk the eggs until they are smooth. Then we add the spices.
Add yogurt and oil. The liquid oil measure is a full glass, but I used 4/3 measure because I was afraid of it being too oily.
We pour the mortar into the mold where we will cook it. The cake mold I use is the kind that doesn't stick. That's why I didn't oil the mold. You can use greaseproof paper. Then we put our cake mortar in the oven we set at 180 degrees. I cooked it for a total of 40 minutes. Cook until browned on top. Check if it is cooked inside. If it is cooked inside, turn off the oven and take out your cake.
The recipe turned out very tasty even though I tried it for the first time. Everyone in the house loved this cake. Have you eaten potato cake before?
I love trying and tasting different flavors. Some may be strict in this regard. They don't like to try different flavors. Thanks to this, I learned and experienced a new recipe. See you in my next recipe. Thank you in advance for your comments and support.
Stay with Love,
xoxo.
