Fewer locked decks, a clearer climb, cleaner swings.
This patch sharpens ranked and combat. Matchmaking now caps how many pool-restricting rulesets a single match can roll, so you never get stuck with a locked-down deck. The leaderboard shows your current rating right next to your peak, and a reckless friendly-fire splash death now resolves cleanly during the same swing.

Fewer locked-down deck rolls
Some ranked matches used to roll several rulesets at once that each shrink which Fighters you can bring. Stacking three of these left you with a brutal, near-unplayable pool before the draft even started.
Now a single match keeps at most two of these pool-restricting rulesets, so you always have real choices when you build your team.
Current rating next to your peak
The leaderboard rating cell showed only each pilot's peak. It now shows the current rating too, smaller and in parentheses right below the peak, on both the full standings page and the leaderboard window on /play.
So you can see how high a pilot has climbed and where they sit right now, at a glance.
🐛 Fixed
Cleaner reckless splash deaths
Fixed a combat edge case. When a reckless attacker's splash hit killed one of its own teammates, that friendly death could linger instead of resolving right away.
Those friendly-fire splash deaths are now reaped during the same swing, so combat and replays read correctly.
