What Are Your Go-To Hive Games Right Now? Let’s Talk Token Burns and Utility
Good afternoon, burners. Happy Monday! It's a new week, and the buzz keeps growing! I'm over on Ecency today, taking a break from Slothbuzz.com for a change! There's a new game to get us excited and buzzing on Hive! The slothbuzz community has been buzzed into action. Try squishing some bugs in Raidstead! A fun way to encourage activity, and look, it's made me post from Ecency today!
What Are Your Go-To Hive Games Right Now?
Raidstead
The Sloths were fast on this one! Joining on day one, pushing the community to follow suit and join the Sloth army! We've almost destroyed the first beast! Sloth and steady wins the race, but it would be nice to have a little more buzz! So consider joiing the Slothbuzz community on Hive, then head over to Raidstead and join us in battle!
There are no 'prizes' other than the glory of being at the top of the leaderboard and showing we're a buzzing Hive community! Although this might take some users time away from Slothbuzz.com we always aimed to maximise Hive potential, not just 'our' thing! So, take it sloth, drop a 'waves' post about Raidstead from Slothbuzz.com/hangs then pop on over and squish some bugs!
There's plenty to do on Hive for every frontend to bring something. different to the table and work together for the mutal benefit of Hive!
Hive Grove
Hive Grove has been making waves on Hive recently, this is one of the best social games around, although the actual 'game play' is pretty limited, you simply need to water your trees! The main gaming aspect actually comes from the socialfi scene behind the grove! The Campfire has become one of the buzziest places on Hive, with users spend all day chatting and waiting for those mysterious Sporuts to appear!
Combined with some easy listening music, which almost makes me want to turn off Slothbuzz Radio, the grove is the perfect place to chill on Hive, having casual 'short' conversations and find your buzz!
Sloths Mining War
Of course, we can't talk gaming without mentioning SlothsMiningWar! This is my go-to Hive game right now; although it's Sloths Mining War, you still need a buzz to compete! The leaderboard isn't the only way to earn in-game; I find it a slothly strategy to aim for the other pots, so you don't need as much buzz all week! Simply get a good early start, then try to bag as much of the 'burn em honey' pot as you can!
There's 4 different ways to earn with Sloths Mining War so the key is finding the strategy that works for you! Aim for leaderboard glory, play it a little more sloth and steady, or simply try 'snipe' the boosters at the right time to make the whales buy them off you for a premium!
Token Utility and Burns
The best part of Sloths Mining War, for me, is the $SLOTHBUZZ token burns! This has given the $SLOTHBUZZ token some real utility and actual burns! Combined with the token's low daily emissions, it's put Slothbuzz back on the map for Hive-engine tokens!
While Raidstead aims to 'burn' Ecency points used for in-game energy, Hive Grove doesn't have a token or burn mechanism; instead, it uses Hive and lets users earn a little extra through the comment rewarder on daily Campfire posts.
Are there any other Hive-engine tokens with this kind of utility? Slothbuzz is a curation token at heart, but with the burns, it's almost deflationary! So Curators and Authors gain even more by using the #slothbuzz tag, thanks to Sloths Mining War burning tokens! It shows the power of bringing gamers and social uses together; this is what Hive was made for!
$SLOTHBUZZ token burn update
In our last post, at the start of round 15, Null had 870 tokens. Let's see how things look a week later. Previously, Sloth Mining War was burning around 3 $SLOTHBUZZ tokens a day; has it kept up?
$Slothbuzz stats
$SLOTHBUZZ token has a circulating supply of 18393
Hive's burn account holds 881 $ SLOTHBUZZ tokens.
That's an increase of 13 over 5 days. It's almost back to burning 3 Slothbuzz a day, which is more than the daily liquid supply! Stake now and earn more!
What other games are you playing?
What other games are you playing on Hive? Of course, Splinterlands is still strong, Rising Star is buzzing along, and Woo + Cryptoshots continue to build on their niche gaming focus!
Where do you spend your time on Hive? Are you playing for money, playing for fun, or playing for the social benefits that come with gaming on Hive?
What communities are still building and growing?
What other communities are still building, growing anf creating a buzz on Hive? There's so much going on it's easy to miss things! Especially when you're a little more Sloth than the average user! So what communities are you still finding a buzz in? Is there a hashtag that brings you the best results, or are you just slothing along, using the 'old' hashtags and hoping for the best?
Hive ebbs and flows; we have to follow that buzz. It's the only way a Sloth can make it in this crazy world: one slothly step in front of the other. Remember, it doesn't matter how slow we go, as long as we don't stop!
Keep on burning my little sloths!
