Two rulesets, resolving exactly as their cards intend.
A small, sharp patch aimed squarely at how two rulesets play out in combat. Systems Blackout and Sensors Dark each had a corner where a Fighter slipped past the rule that was meant to hold it, and both are now closed. Nothing changed about the cards themselves, just the matches around them landing the way you expect.
Systems Blackout is meant to reset every Fighter to its base kit, but it was leaving in place the abilities a commander handed out to the team. Now those granted abilities get stripped too, so a match under Systems Blackout truly plays out with both sides back to basics.
Under Sensors Dark, a back-line Flank Fighter could still slip in an attack against the enemy front line, even though the ruleset is built to blind that kind of positional targeting. Now a blinded Flank stays put like the rest of the back line, so Sensors Dark matches resolve the way the ruleset intends.
More combat polish is on the way, and your replays keep pointing us straight at the rough edges. Thanks for sending them in.
