There is always that one card in your collection that you barely use. You look at it sometimes, think about putting it into a battle, and then choose another card instead. 😂
You keep telling yourself, “I’ll use this card next time.”
Next battle comes.
You still don’t use it.
Another battle comes.
Still nothing. 😂
Then one day, you finally decide to give that card a chance. You build your lineup around it, place it in the right position and hope everything works out.
And somehow, it performs better than expected.
That moment always makes me wonder how many cards I have been ignoring just because I got comfortable with the same combinations.
Splinterlands has so many different cards and abilities that there is always something new to experiment with. Sometimes changing just one card can completely change how a lineup performs.
I think that is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. You can have your favourite strategy, but you can never completely rely on the same thing forever. Different rulesets, mana limits and opponents can force you to think differently.
Sometimes the best move is not using your strongest card. Sometimes it is using a card you completely forgot was sitting in your collection. 😂
And when that forgotten card suddenly becomes the reason you win the battle, it feels even better.
Now I’m starting to think I should go through my collection and give some of those unused cards another chance.
Maybe there are a few hidden heroes waiting for their moment. 😂🔥
