Today I added another card my Splinterlands collection. The name of the card is Exploding Dwarf. It is also a place where I enjoy slowly building and improving my card collection. Whenever I find a card that I think can be useful in battles I try to buy it when the opportunity comes.
Today I decided to buy Exploding Dwarf from the market. As shown in the screenshot I purchased the card for a total of 119.87 DEC. It may not be a purchase but I believe that small purchases like this can gradually make my collection stronger. Every card has its characteristics. If the right card is used in the battle it can become very important.
🔥 Why I Liked Exploding Dwarf
Exploding Dwarf is a Common Fire Unit Card. One of the things about this card is its Blast ability. I personally like cards that can do more than simply attack one enemy. With Blast an attack can also cause damage to enemy cards.
At Level 1 this card has a 5 Mana Cost, 3 Melee Attack, 2 Speed, 0 Armor and 1 Health. At glance the Health of only 1 may make the card look weak.. I don’t think a card should be judged by its Health alone. Its abilities, attack power and the battle situation are also very important.
The Blast ability is what makes this card interesting to me. If I can use it in the situation it may help me damage more than one enemy card.
⚔️ A 5-Mana Card
In Splinterlands Mana management is very important. Sometimes I have a Mana battle and other times I have to build my team with limited Mana. In those situations I always try to think about how much Mana each card requires and what benefits I can get from it.
Exploding Dwarf requires 5 Mana. So when I use it I will need to plan the rest of my team. I cannot simply choose one card. Ignore the other positions. I need a Tank, support cards and other useful attackers.
For 5 Mana getting 3 Melee Attack is interesting to me. If I can increase its Attack or Speed through a Summoner or other abilities its performance could become even better.
I always try to build my team in a way where the cards work together. I want to use Exploding Dwarf as part of that strategy.
💥 The Blast Ability Is the Part
The main reason I was interested in this card is its Blast ability. Blast can be very useful in Splinterlands because an attack can affect the target and nearby enemy positions.
If the opponent places several cards close together Blast can create an opportunity to damage cards with one attack. Because of this even a single attack can sometimes change the situation of a battle.
Course I know that Blast will not always produce the same result. Everything depends on the opponent’s lineup, the Ruleset, my Summoner and the abilities of my cards.
Still having Blast makes Exploding Dwarf a card that I wanted to add to my collection.
❤️ The Low Health Is Something I Need to Consider
There is also a weakness that I need to keep in mind. At Level 1 Exploding Dwarf has 1 Health. That means it can be eliminated quickly if it becomes a target.
Because of this I don’t think I should use this card in every battle without thinking. I need to understand the battle conditions and choose its position carefully.
This is one things I enjoy most about Splinterlands. Buying a card is not process. After buying it I still need to learn where and when I can use it effectively.
A card that looks weak in one situation can sometimes become very useful under a Ruleset or with the right team combination.
📈 My Plan to Level Up the Card
When I buy a card I usually don’t only think about its Level. I also think about its potential. I have a plan for Exploding Dwarf.
The screenshot shows that the card becomes stronger as it is leveled up. Its stats improve. Higher Levels can also provide abilities. So if I can collect copies in the future I would like to level up this card.
My goal is to improve the cards in my collection. I believe that higher-level cards can provide advantages in battles.
For me collecting cards is not about having cards. I also want to build versions of the cards that I actually enjoy using.
🛒 Buying It for 119.87 DEC
When I saw Exploding Dwarf available on the market I checked the card. Then I decided to purchase it. Finally I spent 119.87 DEC to add it to my collection.
I always feel happy after buying a Splinterlands card. Every new card creates another possibility for my battles. Maybe I will not use this card in every battle. There may be a Ruleset or battle situation where it becomes very useful.
This is how my Splinterlands collection continues to grow. Sometimes I receive cards from rewards. Sometimes I get them from packs. Sometimes I buy cards from the market according to my needs.
Every method is enjoyable for me because each new card adds something to my collection.
🎮 Looking Forward to Using Exploding Dwarf
After buying the card I am now looking forward to using Exploding Dwarf in battles.
I especially want to see how effectively I can use its Blast ability. I want to experiment with positions, different Summoners and different team combinations.
I also want to find out which Rulesets are more suitable for this card. These are things that I can understand better through my battles and experience.
For me this is one of the parts of Splinterlands. Having cards is useful.
🏆 Final Thoughts
Overall buying Exploding Dwarf is another addition to my Splinterlands journey.
With a 5 Mana Cost, 3 Melee Attack, 2 Speed and especially its Blast ability I see some potential in this card.
Course its 1 Health means that I need to be careful when using it. Of focusing only on its weakness I want to learn how to use its strengths properly.
Today I spent 119.87 DEC. I added Exploding Dwarf to my collection. In the future I would like to level it up and see how more useful it can become.
I hope this little Fire Dwarf will help me in some battles in the future. Every new card gives me another opportunity to experiment with strategies and learn something
My Splinterlands journey continues one card at a time. Sometimes I buy a card. Sometimes I receive one from rewards. Sometimes I open packs. Discover something unexpected. All of these moments make the game more enjoyable for me.
