I just finished a 12.139km running that lasted about 1hh:10mm:46ss !

Getting up was hard today. I was awake around 6 when I heard some noise downstairs. It stopped when I went down. Was a sort of loud 'tick'. No idea what it was, but nothing amiss. Eventually got a bit more sleep. It has been raining a lot lately, but was okay for the run. Relatively warm, so I got a good sweat on.

I did my regular Sunday loop. When I was on grass it was a little squelchy. Quite a few runners on the way up to Fairfield.

Crossing the stream on the newish Stotfold estate there were the usual ducks and moorhens. Saw a white egret too, but it flew off before I could get my phone out for a picture. I saw a big bird earlier that was probably a red kite.

I went round the back streets of Stotfold where it is quieter, but there were not many people around anyway. I think I saw one lady twice as she was running in the opposite direction around the loop.

You will see a couple of places where I walked, but that was mainly due to Pocket Casts stopping in the middle of podcasts. I wonder if the memory card is playing up. They seem to wear out eventually. It is annoying when running. It did it a third time when I was nearly home, but I just carried on.

I had had enough by the time I got home. Around 12km seems to be my limit for now, but maybe I can build it up again. I have a half marathon next month, but I should be able to get around that. I may rest up for a few days before the race. I am not too bothered about my time.

Run free and stay well.
