I just finished a 5.378km running that lasted about 0hh:30mm:42ss !
I was another cold night with my sleep interrupted by the cat again. I forgot the bring the chickens' water in and so it was well frozen. I popped it in the house as I went out, but it was still mostly ice when I got back. For a change I decided to run down the village to the cemetery at the south end. That is a pretty flat route.
I was very consistent in pace for a lot of this run at around 5:42/km. I would like to go a little quicker, but it is not terrible. I like to see what is going on around here. There is some more building work going on near us. There were a fair few people out, including some runners. Despite the lockdown people are still going to work when they can.
The running got a little easier as I went on. As I got up a little late I was not going to go too far, but I stretched it out over 5km.
It should be getting warmer for next week, so maybe that will give me a little more running energy.
