Description from Strava:
I am still recovering from my cold and so not at full capacity, but I want to keep up my running. parkrun on Saturday was not too bad, but then I was out playing with the band that night and did not feel up to running on Sunday. I have been back in the office this week and got out for a run this morning.

I just did an easy loop of Fairfield. It is getting slightly cooler in the mornings, but was still light when I headed out. The sun is just lower in the sky and was blinding me a little as it came through the trees. When I got up onto the path around Fairfield I saw a muntjac deer up ahead. It did not seem too bothered by me, but wandered into the trees as I got closer. I am not sure if I have seen one there before.

The run got better as I went on after a slow start and my legs felt okay. I have volunteered for parkrun this week, so there is no big pressure for that. I just want to focus on maintaining my fitness for now.

New strap

I had to get a new strap for my watch as the old one was breaking after several years of daily wear. The Garmin ones are not cheap, but this was half the price from Smartwatch Straps. It came with the necessary tools.

I am trying to keep up some daily exercises at home such as plank, push-ups and chin-ups. I also trying hanging from our bar, but cannot do it for long. I aspire to a pull-up.

Have a great week and run free.
