I just finished a 12.038km running that lasted about 1hh:10mm:0ss !

Well it really was foggy today. Visibility was not much over 100m and my glasses kept misting over. It was also around 0C and probably felt colder. Long sleeves and gloves were required, but as I was sweating well by the end I did not need more than that. I did see quite a lot of other runners out and few were in shorts.

Unusually I had breakfast before the run. I did not get up very early and decided it would be getting late to eat by the time I got back. I had cereal with some raspberries from the garden. This late crop is very welcome.

The pace was nothing special today, but I just wanted to get out. I did a fairly long walk yesterday, so I feel I am getting enough exercise for my needs. I did surprise myself yesterday. My son has a chin-up bar in his bedroom doorway. I have been using it and just about managing five reps. Yesterday I had a go first thing and did eight with relative ease. Ten would be a nice target to reach.

Today's run was uneventful. I do have to be a little wary as it can get slippery out there. I was in my On shoes that seem to grip fairly well on tarmac, but the brief sections on grass/mud can be dodgy.

I will probably be in for the rest of the day apart from attending to the chickens. I need to look at securing their run as new regulations are coming in soon due to avian flu. I will have to see what is possible.

Run free and stay well.
