I just finished a 7.816km running that lasted about 0hh:45mm:17ss !
Another nice morning for a run. It was very quiet out there. A few other runners, the guy who empties the bins, some dog walkers and a few others. One lady had a scarf tied over her face. That may be a more common look as this goes on.
I took it very gently up to the starting point for my weekly 5km. I passed the guy who made this video. I often see him out. He does not seem to have a running watch or have a phone with him. Maybe he is not as bothered about stats as the rest of us.
A young lady overtook me just before I started my fast run and was heading the same way. She had a big of a start on me, but I failed to catch her up before she turned off. My legs were feeling heavy and it was generally hard work today. You can see from the plot that it is a lot of climbing, but then I get to cruise downhill on the way back. I have set this up as a Strava segment now, so I can log the rest of the run. A friend did this route a couple of days back and beat my record that did not last long.
I took it gently on the way back, but extended it a little. I hope to run again tomorrow, but I need to get to the shop soon. I will cycle the 5km or so there.
