Three Tune Tuesday: Are you positive?

Although I ran on Sunday I was not feeling that great. I know the warning signs. These things tend to start in my throat and this soon developed into something worse. I did a test yesterday to confirm that I have COVID again. It is definitely still out there and we ought to be more careful.

So today I am not working, but I have been browsing Hive and enjoying the TTT selections. My old friend @brijwhiz did one for his first ever Hive post! @ablaze started this fun challenge.

I shall start with one I wrote some years ago, before COVID, when I was feeling unwell. You will notice that this was done for the old Steemit Open Mic, but I am not recording it again right now.

I will share a couple of tunes featuring some of my musician friends who I brought to Hive. I started a pub music session some years ago and that has been inspirational to me over the years. Several bands and other collaborations have come out of it.

@daniellemurray and I have performed as @swing47. Her clarinet playing has really developed over the years. This is a favourite tune that you may recognise from the original Star Wars. John Williams is a versatile composer.

@purplesinger plays piano and sings in our current band @theriverkicks and I have performed with her many times. She runs some local choirs and teaches singing. She does some wonderful creative videos that sometimes get entered in the current Open Mic contest. This is a Gilbert O'Sullivan song that also features @daniellemurray.

I would encourage everyone to have a go at making music. It is such a rewarding activity. You may not think you have the talent, but that comes from putting in the effort.
