For my 95th entry in the Open Mic contest I am doing another old song that we play at our pub sessions. I have been accompanying a clarinetist who loves the old tunes and I get to sing some of them. I find ukulele works well for some of them even if I have to simplify some of the chords.
Fly me to the moon was written in 1954 by Bart Howard. The famous Frank Sinatra version came ten years later at around the time people were flying to the moon.
I hope to have my hundredth entry in the next couple of month. If you have requests of songs for me to sing then please leave them in the comments and I will see what I can do.
