Despite all the hype about the Bitcoin halving the crypto markets seem to be lacking real big swings lately. Okay, so Bitcoin has gone up a bit in the last month, but it has not zoomed up as much as some might hope. All that happened is that some code did what it should and reduced the miner rewards. That makes it less worthwhile to mine and so they will be looking to optimise their operations. Of course they would like the price to go up, but it is 'resisting' going over $10k for now. I do not hold much, so it makes little difference to me.
My main crypto holdings are Hive and Steem with a gradual shift from the latter to the former. I have another Steem power down in about an hour and am wondering when I should sell it. The price is creeping up and I would like to get a bit more Hive if I can. I am nearing 40k and may get to orca this year. I am using some Steem to top up my Wirex debit card with other coins so I can have a spend.
Apart from this Hive is slowly gaining users, but could still do with a boost. One issue is that it is hard to search for. Searching for 'Steem' would get you some 'Steam' results, but the search engines could distinguish them. There is another Hive blockchain project and you may get links to apiarist resources.
What we can do is to curate well. just voting up the same people does not optimise your rewards. The algorithm favours those who are first to discover and vote up posts that later get big votes from others. With the 'usual suspects' you are in a race to get in at the right time and will have to share the rewards. Seek out good content that adds value to Hive and share it around.

There is a Guitar Community on Hive or you can post to the Music Community. These may reach an audience beyond your followers.
There are various ways to post music on Hive. You can use the mainstream Youtube and Soundcloud, but we also have 
I would love to see more musicians on Hive so I can directly reward them. Our votes have value and cost us nothing to give. That has to be an appealing model especially in times when musicians are struggling due to lack of gigs.
