Hey hey, it's Friday! I am not going to post the HIVE price here as it may depress people. We need to focus on growing the platform and that will help boost it. Of course some will mainly worry about their rewards, but if we can create a compelling social platform then we may get somewhere. Billions use other platforms for no reward and we ought to get a bigger slice of the market. We should be signing up our friends and fans from other places. You can do this via Hive Onboard (add your own account to get referrals) or you can create accounts directly if you have enough Resource Credits. You can see I have claimed lots of accounts. I have put out an offer to create them for people via Twitter, but am not getting any takers right now. Get in touch if you know people who can use them.

You may know what I am a lover off all things #guitar. I created the Hive Guitar Community and I follow various players here. There is lots of talent here and you may enjoy their music. Fill your feed with what you love. Here are some players I can recommend:
@davidfar is a musicians and producer who works in various genres. He put out some samples of his work this week. I was discussing with him the issues with getting a sustainable income from music on Hive. This is an area that needs some attention. It would be great if someone could build a streaming service where you could vote up songs you enjoy to send rewards to the artist.
@gtown is a fine player from Australia who has been posting his versions of some cool songs. He should have more than 38 followers. Extra points for having a Telecaster as his profile picture.
@bexe is from Guatemala and a very good guitarist who plays in a prog metal band. He only has 9 followers and needs some encouragement to share more of his music with us.
@dreamrafa from Venezuela is more established on Hive, but his posts could do with more engagement. He does some great productions of covers and original songs.

I see great potential for Hive as a home for musicians. These are tough times with little possibility of live gigs and they ought to welcome extra income. One artist bringing over a few thousand fans could transform the platform.
