I would hope you know that Steem is full of good musicians. It ought to be an ideal platform for them as anyone who enjoys what they hear can toss them some reward with a vote like you would toss some small change in the collecting tin of a busker (as I did today). You do not even have to buy the music. Meanwhile on Spotify it takes hundreds (thousands?) of plays to just make a few cents as it can only be a small slice of each user's monthly subscription fee. A vote on Steem effectively costs you nothing and can actually pay you something when the curation rewards come in.

I have had the pleasure of jamming with some of these musicians at the Steemfest events where I took along a ukulele. Here I am with camuel@camuel and yidneth@yidneth in Krakow.

Steemfest

I just saw the latest post in a while from yidneth@yidneth where she tells us about a recent bicycle accident that has made it hard for her to play music or draw. That must be so frustrating for her. She does still have a new song for us to listen to. It is pretty epic.

camuel@camuel has also not been active much lately. I hope he is okay. Someone else who was at the last Steemfest is Open Mic supremo luzcypher@luzcypher who just disappeared a while back. I have heard he is okay, but I miss him.

markshepard@markshepard is posting some great songs and does some great videos for them. I just listened to his latest with my big monitor speakers and it sounds awesome. His post is sitting on 14c right now, which is just not right. Send some love his way.

If you like something heavier then dreamrafa@dreamrafa can supply it. He is a really good guitarist who is showcasing some songs he has played on recently.

Another guitarist on Steem is melbookermusic@melbookermusic. He runs a music school that I assume is keeping him busy as he has not been posting as much recently. He does have a live post demonstrating a guitar wireless system that looks cool.

Of course you can follow people who are not active at the moment and catch their posts as they appear.

Feel free to suggest other people to follow in comment or your own #FollowFriday post. It does not have to be music-related.

Steem on!
