Description from Strava:
On our trip into London the other day we ended with seeing Mel Brooks' The Producers at The Garrick Theatre. I saw the movie many years ago, so knew the basic plot. The stage show is a full musical and really funny. Anyone not expecting a gay Nazi spectacular may be a little shocked! I also bought some Lego in Leicester Square, so expect to see that on Hive soon. That is where I blog.
Today I was back to running. We were in Newcastle for the weekend and I did not manage to fit in a run there, so I was overdue. I did my usual route around Fairfield and it went pretty well. The pace was better than some recent runs. I did not go all out, but I tried to keep it up. I did not even stop to take a photo, so I used one from our theatre trip.
I did not see much in the way of wildlife, but I heard some geese flying over. Podcast listening was a mix of science, drumming and Linux. Some of my favourite topics. I read about a movie podcast that has done in-depth shows about the Lord of the Rings films, but those are each longer than the films at around 4 hours. That would take me a while to get through even on my usual 1.5x speed.
Someone at work was talking about us doing a half marathon in April. I could probably manage that. Although I did not get into the Great North Run I could do some down this way.
Run free and the show must go on!
