Description from Strava: sportstalk
The dripping is not from the rain. I developed a cold a couple of days ago and my nose has been doing the running. I still felt that I could manage a run today.
It was not too bad out there after a wet few days. I was due to marshal at parkrun yesterday, but it was called off due to flooding. Given how I was feeling I was not too disappointed.
I did a variant on my regular loop around the villages. That includes a bit of uphill to make my legs work, but I was not going to push too hard. I think my lung capacity is down a little, but I did not feel that bad and I managed to keep up a reasonable pace.
I did have to dodge some puddles and it was a little muddy in parts on the track around Fairfield, but I have seen worse. The fluffy cat may have been warming up a little if the car it was on had been out this morning.
I am glad I got out. I got through a couple of podcasts. Add To Playlist is back with all sorts of music and Richard Herring interviewed mathematician Matt Parker whose book I read recently.
As I posted yesterday I met up with some Hive friends on Friday night in London. I would not have met these smart people without the blockchain and I have had so many great experiences around it. Stravans can join up and use the @strava2hive app to earn from their activities. Just give me a shout if you want to try it.
