Hey guys and creative friends this is my drawing of a night scene, and like I said on my previous comment I will try to create my own version so this is it. I imagined of a place that is on top of a hill away from the bustling metro life.Just a simple, close to nature, lots of greens, trees, stones and grass and vast sky kind of vibe.
I wanted to draw some houses on the slope of a hill grounded with stones, dirt paths and trees. This is the quick sketch of my idea and I was hoping all would end well as I have envisioned
Then time to ink the drawing and make the final line drawing. I must admit that there are some minor changes I made as the inking process went on. That kind of edit you want to do because it felt right or sometimes you went overboard 馃槃
Because this is going to be a night scene like mentioned in the drawing prompt, I did the choosing of the dark night sky color first. From here on I can adjust the colors of the scene accordingly but it was not easy for me. The dark sky does not quite work with the shade of green and orange that I pick.
Hmmm looking at it now I wish I could have added some stars to make the sky have some sparkle and interest. The moon is looking rather lonely and dull with my choice of color. It was a learning process for me and it was a good and fun experience too. I am happy I decided to give this a go
