I drew this scene because I wanted to capture that feeling of complete isolation chirp chirp cricket...where the rest of the world completely fades out and it’s just you, a warm fire inside, and the cold night air. It is peaceful but dark like wrapped up in a dark blanket of blue.
Instead of making everything perfectly straight and rigid, the steep angle of the cabin and the giant, dancing stars represent how overwhelming nature feels when you're all alone out there did you get me?.
