It was Valentine’s day. Lots of couples were sitting all around the park.
I sat on a bench and started reading my book. Opposite to me, across a small lane, there was a couple sitting on a bench, just like the image below.

Soft wind, girl’s hairs touching guy’s cheek, hands intertwined with each other.
just like that. There was no talking or laughing between them, just romantic pleasant silence.
Now, the people who have experienced this knows how beautiful and satisfying that moment is.
Suddenly, two people came and sat on my bench. They were talking loudly, using dirty words just for saying normal things, tobacco in their mouths, playing songs on their mobile phone with maximum volume etc. (well, you know the type!).
Couple was still there, enjoying their moment without a care in the world.
After five minutes, loud music stopped.
One guy to another, “If I start to take pictures of all these couples around here, they wouldn’t dare to sit here for another moment. ”
Second guy replied, “ That will scare them and will teach them a lesson, that would be fun!”
(Even above small discussion was filled with lot of slang words!)
Second guy lifted his phone and started pointing towards a couple I mentioned above, to gain their attention.
Meanwhile, I slammed my book between my fingers, looked at that guy and said calmly “don’t do that!”. He gave me a weird look and started clicking photos anyways. In my opinion, it is always better not to argue with these type of people. So I gave up.
He pointed camera towards that couple for approximately two minutes until it caught that girl’s attention.
A small gentle smile on that girl’s face fade away, she lifted her head from guy’s chest, unwillingly breaking that beautiful moment, the guy wasn’t aware what was happening, he gave puzzled look and asked her what was wrong.
The girl didn’t replied. She took his hand, pulled him off the bench and started walking towards a bench far from that place.
Those two people laughed so hard on that, they enjoyed that moment like they have accomplished something big. So,
I will never understand the thinking process of those two people.
I will never understand why they enjoyed the trouble they caused to that couple.
I will never understand why people cause trouble to other people who they even don’t know!
I will never understand the mindset of people who enjoys other people’s suffering , who take pleasure when other people get hurt or insulted.
And finally, I will never understand the concept behind insult comedy!
