Loving HATE - I use to live in Chicago where I was a standup comic. Every decision that I made to push my career forward was met by tons of hate and animosity. I learned from Kobe that you can channel other people’s hate into becoming better at your craft. Instead of wishing that people loved you more, fuel yourself off their animosity. Remember this doesn’t mean you have to hate them back, but it does mean you can laugh in their face.
Connecting Friends with Other Friends - James Altucher says in his Google talk that Google is the most visited website on the web yet they don’t actually have any information on it, but what it does is connect you with websites that have the information you need. You can do this in life. If a friend needs a place to live, I immediately Facebook group them with a friend of mine that is a realtor. If a friend wants to learn more about business, I will Facebook group the with a friend of mine who knows more about entrepreneurship. People will constantly come to you because you’ve cultivated the habit of solving their problem.
Don’t Wait for Someone to Die to Tell They Are Special - I am constantly messaging people telling them what they mean to me, or even if I just think of them really quick or how that I find their journey inspiring. If you message people and add value to their lives being sincere, you will have a deeper relationship with more people and you will just overall feel better.
Stack WINS in your mind - When I wake up in the morning I say “Win!” then as I walk to bathroom I say “Win!” again, I do this until I create the winner effect within myself which leads to a lot of morning momentum. I do this all the time to get me in the mood and increase my confidence. The thing about our minds is that we can interpret even the smallest actions as wins, and get the hormonal benefits, so feeling like a winner is as simple as just calling yourself one.
