You watch the others stand in the spotlight, enjoying the attention and the applause. It seems their fifteen minutes of fame are eternal, and they love knowing everyone is watching them ride that wave.

On the other hand, your performance and daily routine look quieter next to that. They are steady instead of loud, and some days it makes you wonder if quiet is just another word for forgettable.

But real leadership is not like fireworks that look glamorous for a few minutes on New Year's Eve. It is more like the quiet and steady work of a lighthouse during the storms of the rainy season, standing tall so others can find their way home.
El verdadero liderazgo no es como los fuegos artificiales que se ven glamurosos por unos minutos en Año Nuevo. Es más como el trabajo callado y constante de un faro durante las tormentas de la temporada de lluvias, manteniéndose firme para que otros puedan encontrar su camino a casa.
