Might be I am too late to comes up with the comparison of #Hive against the social media giant #Facebook. Those who were active on Hive must have noticed the differences and already comes up with their own theory or judgment of how #Hive make them stand out against the age old #Facebook platform. However , I thought to put my own perception of how things unfolded at my end.
Growth
It was not long ago that I used to be very active on Facebook. Infact the laun h of this platform simply took the world with storm and everyone pitched in to be part of the revolution. People join in and make friends or look out for their old friendship through this platform. Infact many succeeded in getting to their childhood friendship and made their own group. I did that as well and almost meet everybody of my school days. It was a great feeling and seeing the personal life of different individual around the globe.
Monotonous Approach.
It didn't took me too long to get bored feeling with #Facebook. Everyone logs in, share their stuff, friends click the like button and in some cases put comments just to keep the friendship going. What use to be a active revolution in social media, started to become an act monotonous activity. Honestly I started to pissed away and what used to be affair soon becomes weekly affair and then later monthly. And slowly the craze gone and hardly remain active at #Facebook. I started looking for some changes something new in my life.
Introduction to Hive (steemit)
It is wrong not to mention the role of #steemit. It actually paved way for Hive and my journey becomes one of the fruitful things ever happened. It is not like I am knitting all golden words to appreciate #Hive platform. But in actually it gives a new dimension to my life.
When I joined it , I was not aware about crypto things, but slowly understand the magic of putting value to your likes. Not like #facebook, here I am getting some value to my likes. It was like doing some productive work and appreciating other work by putting well deserves likes for their work.
Array Of Activity.
When I was introduced here, I was told that, this is similar to #Facebook. But it didn't took me long to understand that this is bigger than what used to be old school of Facebook. The approach is similar, however here there are different dimesnion and an array of activity that keeps me or anyone hooked to this platform. There is so much to explore by remain active and also add on to the existing knowledge base.
It is not wrong to say, #Hive is a k oeldge base where anybody can learn differrnt aspect of life and grasp knowledge about, food, culture, diy, art, writing and many other things to enhance one's inner quality.

I am really thankful to #Hive that allows me to be better with each post and each login to any of the page. In addition the monetory factor is super rewarding. A little time and you can easily make good rewards. This is where #Hive is standing far ahead than #Facebook. I am so intoxicated with #Hive that I completelly forget my #Facebook login. It's been more than 5 years that I ever see myself busy on #Facebook.
