Some unusual sight is enough to get your attention. During my recent trip, i was enjoying the cool atmosphere of Southern India marked up by regular sighting of Banana and Coconut. There is a greenary everywhere. It is quite hard to find any other color in middle of the Greenary. But a sudden stoppages at a petrol pump to get some fuel allow me to find the beauty of this Lavender flower.
To my understanding, sighting lavender flower in my region is very rare. This one too go unnoticed if we were not stopped at the petrol pump. I wanted to take note of everything that comes across in my trip. This besutiful flower were planted right at the boundary wall near the entrance. The flower were blooming in bunches and the view is quite apealing.
Seeing a lavender flower brings a sudden sense of calm and a deep breath of relief. I am overwhelmed by the sight of this beautiful flower. The simple, elegant stems remind everyone of quiet beauty in nature. The natural beauty made me too curious to know more about it. I have never seen these flower ever. They have little blossming flower and and array of buds. I asked the petrol pump staff and they called it Thangam Punitham. These flower does not have any fragrance. But their presence is enough to appreciate the natural beauty.
The plant appears to be an evergreen shrub that produces showy, drooping clusters of small, tubular blossoms. They grow in different colors, but this lavender reminded me of my daughter who is fond of this color. The clusters was not apealing as those of single blooming one
It was indeed a pleasant sight that make our trip more beautiful. Seeing the lavender flower feels like catching a glimpse of tiny drops of purple magic hanging from a natural chandelier. The delicate blossoms hang in loose, drooping clusters that dance softly in the breeze, looking like floating jewels or dewdrops. I loved it a lot which made me to snap it through my phone.
