...literally I gather.

Storm Darcy is on its way and is apparently bringing strong wind, freezing temperatures and even some snow! Yes, we tend to get a little excited by snow in the UK as we don't see it often in many parts. Also it's amusing to observe how useless we are at coping with it as the country seems to grind to a halt after a few cm.

Not great at the best of times let alone when we're trying to vaccinate lots of folk.

I used it as a good excuse to get my furry friend out for a walk along the dunes. It was misty and a little eerie; the wind hadn't yet picked up. Lola's coat just about looks thick enough to deal with it though.

I managed another jog on Friday after my midweek C25K failure. I doubled up on the stretches before heading out and my back seemed to cope OK on this occasion. It was very slow but at least I got out. This week I managed to knock 6.2 miles off my 30 mile target for the month. I may be forced to keep to the exercise bike this week if the forecast is accurate, that should become evident later this evening when the storm is scheduled to hit.
