It's forecast to be jolly warm today and for once they seem to have nailed it! I woke up shortly after 6 this morning and although I had the windows open it was already warm in the house. It was time to get up and take Lola for a run around before it got too hot for her.
There wasn't a tickle of a breeze this morning, it isn't very often you see these flags in a rested position. I'm not sure what the technical term for that might be! They're currently flying at half mast as the secretary of the lifeboat team recently passed away after getting involved in 1966.
Lola was contemplating running off to see other pooches at this point but it was nothing a gravy bone couldn't prevent.
A couple ships heading towards the river mouth in Great Yarmouth. Certainly weren't having to battle rough seas today.
I couldn't decide what I favoured more out of these two as I thought I'd whack them both in the post. Our Lola keeping watch over her kingdom. The lady with the two big dogs has the right idea as she swims with them most mornings when the weather's good.
Lola admiring the view. She was pretty happy as a few of her friends were on the beach as we headed back to the car.
